Welcome to the Blog of the Michael Jazz Trio. This trio consists of three extraordinary gifted young men, they are known to many as Matthew Michael Godfrey, 18, who plays keyboard, David Michael Godfrey, 16, who plays Saxophone, Bass Guitar, and Guitar, and their youngest brother Jordan Michael Godfrey, 11, who plays the drums. Nobody could be more proud than, Michael Godfrey and Esther Godfrey, the parents of this talented trio. The Michael Jazz trio began playing outside a local 7 eleven in their neighborhood in Long Island, N.Y. Their talent was recognized and soon after they were being asked to play for private events as well as for non-profit organizations. The reason why they all play instruments tile this day is because of musician Yanni's influence. Their mother use to play the music of Yanni and other jazz musicians while she was carrying each of them. Keep your ears and eyes open for these talented young men whom by God's grace are going to excel to greatness with their music abilities.
